Question 1: What Do You Do?
A lot of people who look for ideas start with keyword research and look for what other people are looking for. One of the most important aspects about having a successful business is passion, which comes much easier with stuff you’re already into. Even if you find a niche that will work and will make money for you through keyword research, you’ll find that you’ll quickly lose motivation if it’s something you’re just not that excited about.
So the question is: “What do you do?” What could you spend hours doing because you enjoy it so much? What are some goals you have that you’re working toward each day? What do you do well? Answering these questions will help you determine what you may have the energy for when establishing yourself and your business online. I’m sure there are hundreds of things you do each day that you are totally passionate about or are really good at. It is those things you should write down now, and don’t even think about how you could make money yet.
Question 2: What Would Help Make What You Do Easier?
With your list of “things you do”, look at each item and ask yourself, “What would make doing this thing easier or more convenient?”
Think about this question from all angles. For example, if one of your passions is “making beer”, don’t just think about physical items and gadgets that could make your suds making experience easier or better, but also think about what kind of information you would find useful too.
In addition to what would helps you now, think about what would have helped you when you were first introduced to this topic – as if you were a beginner who knew absolutely nothing about it. Use your experience and knowledge about the subject to figure out something that you really wish was around when you first started.
Question 3: Has it been done?
Take what you learned in question 2, and do a Google Search for anything like it.
If you’ve found something like it… That means there’s probably a market for it and people are spending their money on it. At this point, you should ask yourself this question: What can I do better than these guys? What makes my experience unique? If you can answer these questions, you’ve found a potential idea that can be profitable that you know you’ll have the energy and passion for. Don’t worry about the competition. It’s good for both the consumer and for you, because when you create a product that’s better than what already exists, you’re going to attract more customers and grab a portion of that existing market.
If you’ve found nothing like it…Then you’ll have to ask yourself a couple of further questions: Why hasn’t anyone created this item already? Is it something that everyone else figured out would not be profitable?
Do a little more research to see if it is a good idea that would help just you, or other people too. This can be done through keyword research and just asking people in your potential audience.

You can also go to YouTube for some great videos to help you set up your site using WordPress.

WordPress comes with a generic default WordPress theme, but there are tons of free themes that help fit your personality and will help you build an audience and a profitable good looking blog. Go to the WordPress control panel, click on “Appearance”, then “Themes”. On the left hand sidebar scroll through and find a theme that screams “you”. Woothemes.com is a great place to start.
* If you aren’t comfortable with creating your own them/blog you can have it customize by hiring someone to build the blog. You can go to www.elance.com and put together a proposal and have experts bid on your project. It’s that simple.

I hate writing period…..English in school was usually just after lunch….ie: nap time. ugh….
Back to the topic. Writing is like anything in life. It requires consistency to be good. The Winter Olympics recently concluded…Eh
Do you think those athletes just started their career at the games? Probably not. Writing is the same. It takes practice. The more you “exercise” the easier it becomes. Here are some “exercises” for you to try every day.
1. Sit down at a computer. Start a timer for 4 minutes. Write down everything that comes to mind. Don’t hesitate or worry about content, spelling or grammar. When you’re finished, do what you like with the result: Delete it, save it or frame it as a masterpiece. Skills developed: Smooth writing flow; brainstorming; typing (if you need it).
2.Role-play: Look out your window. (If your not near the window, go over to one) With the first creature (human/animal/alien) that you see, write down, in 2 sentences or less, what they’re thinking. Unless your psychic, use your imagination. Skills developed: Audience analysis; imagination; smooth writing flow.
3. Take one e-mail or other document you wrote yesterday and rewrite it. Pick something short. Do not take more than 5 minutes. The Challenge: Make it at least 15% shorter, while still communicating the same message. Skills developed: Editing; minimization of words.
4. Learn a new word. More words = more ammo.
This total process will take less time than it will to watch 15 minutes of boring morning news…Try it: Do all 4 exercises for 2 weeks. By doing so, you will improve your blogs, articles or just plain ole’ emails, thus improving your opportunities in Creative Passive Income.
Till next time……

You don’t have to quit your job to start earning money online. You can start out slow, and keep the securities and comfort of your job at the same time. If making money online isn’t for you (and it’s not for everyone!) then you can easily stop and go back to your normal routine with little or no loss and regret.
Here are 5 helpful tips I learned that will help you find some extra time:
- Notice Your Free Time. Even though you have long days, you do have some free time that you can use to your advantage. If you add up your morning drive, your morning break, your lunch break, your afternoon break, your drive home, time at the gym, and some of the free time you have at home (after the kids are asleep?), you might find an extra 2 to 4 hours in there.
- Compound your Activities. We often don’t realize how we can prudently use our time. On your drives to and from work, do you listen to the radio? Probably. What about while you are on the treadmill? Maybe. So why not listen to a podcast and learn something instead? Something helpful and inspiring podcasts that teach you about online business stuff. There are a lot out there! You can find more by searching “business podcast” in itunes.
- Stop Watching So Much Television. Now, I’m not saying you should quit watching T.V. for good, but you have to admit, you probably watch a lot of television. You can use the extra time to read, learn, and do.
- DON’T Combine Your Day Job With Your Creative Passive Income Business. If the rules at your 9 to 5 job include: don’t use the internet for anything non-business related, know that your business does not count as a business related item. If you can use your breaks to surf the net at your leisure, go ahead and use that time to do some research or read some articles – but don’t use any supplies or print anything related to your “other” job. “Big Brother” is watching and you will get caught. It could cost you your job, or a least a lot of explanation and time.
- DO Combine Your Day Job With Your Aspiring Passive Income Business. What I mean here is to think about how your business can relate to your 9 to 5 job. Think about the things you do at work. Is there something that could be improved? Is there something you wish you had that would make things easier for you and your co-workers? What kinds of things will you have to do at your job in the future?
Each week, I will continue to post Creative ways to help you obtain the Passive Income that you desire to help you accomplish your DREAMS…..
